Dear respected brothers, this is a commentary on the poem by Sheikh Muhammad Sulaiman al-Jazuli; may Allah have mercy on him, known as Tuhfat al-Atfal. This blessed and famous poem has been accepted by the Ummah generation after generation. It has been memorized by many of our pious children and dedicated students, both young and old, across the Muslim world, focusing on this valuable effort of Tajweed (Quranic recitation rules).

This poem serves as a summary of the science of pronunciation and performance for the recitation according to the method of ash-Shatibiyyah. It is concise, beneficial, and its practice leads to the desired outcome.
